Social networking ♥ ❤ ❥

Rather its Facebook, myspace, instagram or twitter; Its still considered social networking. For the people who are new to technology, social networking is a website or application used to interact with others. Social networking could be used in a positive way for several different reason. Growing up in today's society  people tend to use social networking in negative way. Why ? I don't understand. I've researched two different social networking articles. One mentions that a teenage girl texts about almost 250 times a day. Rather its talking to her mom, family, or her friends. Social networking in todays society could become very addictive. 85% says that the young people constantly checking their notifications, texted messages and emails. In my opinion if people use social networking in the correct way then life would be better. When mentioning better I mean using it to email your professor or to catch up with an old friend. A negative way would consist of cyber bulling because you never know what people are going through someone could say something so hurtful though the internet, that the person could actually commit suicide. 

The second article that i found interesting was how social networking was considered stupid. Yes stupid, it mentions that it ruins peoples relationships and how it becomes a distraction. 70% of college students agreed that if they are in the middle of typing a paper they tend to get distracted and check their Facebook notifications. Which I totally agree on because I own a Facebook, Instagram, twitter and snapchat. So there has been times when i've got a new text message or notification and I would stop what I was doing just to check the message. Even though social networking has its pros and cons it most definitely depends on the person.
